Born in London, England.

Attended  Rutherford High School, Rutherford, NJ

Graduated with honors from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA, with a B.A. in Business Administration in 1966.

U.S. Navy pilot from 1966 to 1971.  Plane commander of C-130 aircraft.  Left the service as a lieutenant.

Attended William & Mary Law School, Williamsburg, VA.  Graduated in 1974.

Joined the law firm of Epstein, Epstein, Brown, Bosek & Turndorf in 1974.  Became a partner in 1979.  Held the position of Management Partner from 1996 to 2000.
